Event Overview
Derlie Records, Inc. proudly presents its Coffee House Concert Series featuring singer, songwriter, and pianist Derrick Williams. He is a talented artist blessed with both an infectious musical style and a phenomenal stage show that will captivate you! His style is unique and incorporates his diverse musical influences harmonized as an extraordinary blend of contemporary and traditional Gospel, Jazz, Rock, and Soul....
Williams is also well known nationwide for his thrilling performances as the "Rabbi" in the Off-Broadway Musical, The Rock & The Rabbi.
He has toured with the show for the past seven years — affording him tens of thousands of fans nationwide. Outside of the show's tour schedule he continues to perform and record Gospel and Jazz music further expanding his fan base.
The purpose of our Coffee House Concert Series is to support Williams' upcoming CD releases. Our Coffee House Concerts are two hour events and include a brief intermission for a raffle giveaway. We offer an upscale candle lit cabaret style atmosphere and feature a decadent dessert table offering a medley of cheesecakes, assorted chocolates, cookies, cakes, and more... CDs and merchandise are available to purchase at all events. All major credit cards are accepted. Past sponsors include: Brighthouse Networks, The St. Petersburg Times, The Florida Sentinel Bulletin, and WRXB 1590 AM.
Our target audience is generally 25 and older but, our concert events are open to all ages. Ethnic diversity ranges from all cultural backgrounds and our audiences consists of both single individuals, as well as, families. Our goal is to provide communities with an upscale concert event featuring quality entertainment while offering a friendly and memorable experience for the entire family!
A series of Coffee House Concerts are planned throughout the Southeastern United States for 2005-2006. A Coffee House Concert is a great way to celebrate a church event, corporate event, grand opening or fund raiser. What a great idea! Sponsor a Coffee House Concert Today!
